Fast recovering its past position as the lungs of the city (not an easy task in a city with so many parks). It is refreshingly informal expanse with sports grounds, lakes, hills to climb and now an amazing accessible playground. The only downside here is that substantial parts of this public park are routinely cut of from the public for the exclusive use of a small group of cyclists... does not seem to be equitable.
